buried utility lines in downtown Irvine would be more attractive

Don't you love those leaning utility poles in downtown Irvine next to the bridge! I know it would be expensive to bury the cables. But if people in Lafayette Estates on Trotting Ridge have buried cables, how about a fund for people to donate to making downtown Irvine a more attractive place. And recently, the Main Street has become more attractive with new paint on buildings, clock and street lamps. I always hated the pole next to the old Rowland Drug Store on Main Street...How many times do I remember our car door slamming into this hideous pole!

Park at Lock 12, Old Pike Ravenna a GOOD IDEA!

I have heard about the plan to restore the old lock houses and build a park and restaurant on the premises. What a neat idea. Estill County needs the facilities to bring out of town people into our town!
